For CeloGather, we’re developing a local event economy built on Celo that rewards visitors with Celo Ecosystem Account Points. These points can be earned and spent through different live event activators. Visitors will receive tokens at registration and can earn more through different activators, use them during the day, or save these points to upgrade their Celo Ecosystem account and enjoy future benefits.

Spending Activators:

• Public Good wall - A wall where visitors can decide to donate their points to different initiatives, such as Social Impact, Climate Activism, and the Arts. Three pillars: Impact Market, Biochar, Celo GG21

• ***Merch Corner—***Here, you can collect your basic Celo Merchandise but can also purchase more exclusive merchandise, such as sweatpants, hats, and Celo branding pins, using your points.

• Safecracker game - In the middle of the room, we will install a keypad safe with a riddle and a prize inside. Users can purchase one chance with their points for the right combination.

Potential a Web App

Earning Activators:

• Jungle Onboarding: Create an “artificial” jungle outside with 5-7 different plants, onboard visitors through Silvi’s app, and reward them with points for doing so.
• Photobooth - These can be great options for creating UGC that can be later shared on social walls. Once a visitor creates and uploads an image they can claim points.
• Thought Wall: Visitors can write their opinions about 4-5 statements/subcategories on sticky notes and attach them to a wall.
• ***Celo Manifesto—***Have an intriguing setup in the middle of the space on a stand that looks “heavenly” with the “Celo Manifesto” and a survey for people to fill in. This should be simple but still be able to ensure that people read the manifesto. They need to get, for instance, 4/5 questions right to claim points.

Potential a Web App

• ***Recycle Lego Corner—***Create a challenge, “Build your visualization,” of what a modular Celo Layer 2 would look like. Every submission can be rewarded in points, and the best creation by 3 pm can win the main prize. This can also be uploaded to the social wall for Celo Gather and create more user-generated content.
• ***Scavenger Hunt—***Visitors must collect 5 hidden treasures to win the scavenger hunt. Visitors can earn points per hidden treasure they manage to collect, but only one winner will win the scavenger hunt, which is a combination of points and maybe merch.

Ideally collect an NFT or something comparable at each location. The best way likely is to go to the Celo Station to claim your rewards.
